^ITA    In occasione della Milano Design Week 2016 presenteremo una nuova collezione per FIAM composta da Tavolo, Sedia e Madia.
Ci è stato chiesto di sviluppare una collezione che, partendo dal vetro curvato come materiale protagonista, esplorasse nuove possibilità combinandosi con nuovi materiali come pelle e legno.

Presenteremo inoltre il primo prodotto nato dalla nuova collaborazione con Discipline, un sistema/libreria modulare realizzata in legno di faggio e alluminio.

^ENG    During the Milan Design Week 2016 we will present a furniture collection designed for FIAM which includes a Table, Chair and Cabinet.
We have been asked to design a collection which is focused on the main material, the curved glass, but also explores new possibilities combining it with different materials such as wood and leather.

We will also unveil the first product of the new collaboration with Discipline, a new modular shelving system made in beech wood and aluminium.

^ITA    Igloo System disegnato per FontanaArte, è stato selezionato per ADI Design Index 2015, parte della selezione per il ‘Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI 2016’. ADI Design Index è la pubblicazione di ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale che raccoglie il miglior Design Italiano messo in produzione ogni anno e selezionato dall’Osservatorio Permanente del Design.

^ENG    Igloo System designed for FontanaArte has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2015, which is part of the selection for the ‘Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI 2016’. Adi Design Index is the publication of ADI, the Italian Association for Industrial Design, that collects, year after year, the best of Italian Design put into production, selected by ADI Design Permanent Observatory.

^ITA    Siamo lieti di annunciare che il sistema a sospensione IGLOO disegnato per FontanaArte è stato premiato con il “Red Dot Design Award 2015”.
Nella motivazione del premio la giuria ha sottolineato l’alta qualità del design associata alla sua modularità che consente di illuminare, disponendo i gusci in fila, innumerevoli ambienti con diverse esigenze illuminotecniche. Il prestigioso riconoscimento “Red Dot” è uno dei più ambiti e apprezzati nel settore del design, creato e organizzato dal Design Center of North Rhein-Westphalen fin dal 1955.

^ENG    We are pleased to announce our IGLOO suspension system designed for FontanaArte has won the “Red Dot Design Award 2015”.
Motivating their decision, the jury highlighted the high quality of the design together with the modularity of the in-line shells that make it possible to illuminate rooms with different lighting engineering requirements. The prestigious “Red Dot” award is one of the most sought-after and appreciated recognitions in the sector, set up and organized by the Design Center of North Rhein-Westphalen in 1955.

^ITA    Il giorno 17 Aprile saremo ospiti del workshop Il progetto del terzo giorno, tenuto da Emanuele Marcuccio con Timothée Calame, Yannic Joray presso l’Istituto Svizzero di Milano. Il workshop, della durata di quattro giorni, si articola in diversi atti all’interno dei quali vengono proposte attività di produzione e discussioni. L’intervento di Studio Klass si sviluppa intorno al concetto di utile/inutile e inviterà i partecipanti a iniziare una produzione di manufatti che indagheranno il confine tra forma e funzione degli oggetti.

^ENG    On April 17th we will take part as guest at Il progetto del terzo giorno, a workshop by Emanuele Marcuccio with Timothée Calame, Yannic Joray at Istituto Svizzero di Milano. The four-day workshop is organized in different acts involving activities of production and discussion. The intervention of Studio Klass develops around the concept of useful/useless and will encourage participants to produce original artifacts to investigates the borderline between form and function of objects.

^ITA    Abbiamo curato l’allestimento del temporary store Diamantini & Domeniconi presso il De Padova shop di Corso Venezia 14. Lo spazio ospiterà una selezione di orologi pensati in esclusiva per De Padova e le anteprime della nuova collezione 2015.

^ENG    We have been asked to design the set-up of the Diamantini & Domeniconi temporary store at De Padova shop in Corso Venezia 14. The shop will host a selection of clocks made for De Padova and the new products of the 2015 collection.

^ITA    Siamo stati invitati a partecipare alla prima collezione Da a, il nuovo brand che sarà presentato in anteprima al Fuorisalone 2015. L’idea di collaborare con Da a, una realtà con alle spalle un’azienda specializzata prevalentemente in meccanica industriale, ci ha fin da subito affascinato; la sfida è stata quella di arrivare a dei complementi di arredo partendo da tecnologie di produzione ben precise, fino ad oggi impiegate per scopi prevalentemente funzionali.

^ENG    We have been invited to design new products for the Da a collection, the new furniture brand which will be unveiled during Fuorisalone 2015. The idea to collaborate with Da a, a brand of a company with a great experience in industrial mechanic, has been welcoming at our Studio; the challenge was to develop a furniture collection using the Company’s industrial process, normally used for functional fields until today.

^ITA    Presenteremo due nuovi prodotti per Diamantini & Domeniconi caratterizzati entrambi dallo stesso concetto di partenza, ovvero quello di rendere il marmo visivamente il più leggero possibile. L’idea è stata declinata in 'Piano', un appendiabiti modulare realizzato in legno e marmo bianco di Carrara o marmo nero Marquinia e 'Sunset', uno specchio a muro realizzato in acciaio lucidato a specchio e marmo bianco di Carrara.

^ENG    We will unveil two new products for Diamantini & Domeniconi which come from the same idea, which was to use the marble in a soft and visually light way. From this starting point comes 'Piano', a wall mounted coat-hanger made in wood and white Carrara marble or black Marquinia marble and 'Sunset', a wall mirror made in polished stainless steel and white Carrara marble.
